UL-Listed Firestop & Joint System Installations

We install UL-classified firestop and joint systems for penetrations created by mechanical, electrical, plumbing, low-voltage, fire sprinkler, and structural steel trades. Our technicians work from listed assemblies to restore the fire-resistance rating of walls, floors, and ceilings after penetrations are made — maintaining hourly ratings, smoke compartmentation, and full code compliance.

Fire Caulking & Penetration Sealing

We seal wall and floor penetrations created by electrical conduit, plumbing pipes, HVAC ductwork, low-voltage cabling, and fire sprinkler piping using tested, UL-classified firestop systems. Steel Intumescent Coating Installation

American Empire Fire Stop installs spray-applied and brush-grade intumescent coatings for structural steel protection. These coatings expand under heat exposure to insulate steel members, delay structural failure, and meet the hourly fire-resistance ratings required by the building's design specifications. We coordinate directly with structural engineers and general contractors to ensure proper mil thickness, substrate preparation, and documentation.

Intumescent Products, Pads & Wraps

Joint Sealants — Architectural & Fire-Rated

Our team installs high-performance joint sealants across a full range of substrates, including CMU, windows, hollow metal doors, siding, stone, and other architectural surfaces. We handle both architectural sealant scopes and fire-rated joint systems at perimeter joints and construction joints where fire-resistance continuity is required.

Acoustical Caulking

We install acoustical sealants at perimeter joints, control joints, and STC-rated wall assemblies to reduce sound transmission between occupancies. This scope is often combined with firestopping on multifamily and healthcare projects where both life safety and acoustic performance are specified.

Fire-Rated Assembly Restoration
